Iconic sixties artist Peter Maxx is a great inspiration for me. Quite a few years ago, I bought an assortment of puzzles that were small versions of some of his work. They were cheap, from one of those dollar stores.
The finished puzzles were about 6 x 8. I have kept them on a shelf, most were assembled and one was still in the box. I had managed to use puzzle saver to keep them together. Then yesterday, an idea came to me, I had a frame that was used on a past post as a normal frame but now I had an even better idea for it. The great thing about creativity is that sometimes you do a project and after time passes, a better idea surfaces. This was one of those times. I gathered up my puzzles and after measuring one of them cut it to size for the frame. They were cheap so the cardboard was easy to cut. Then I grabbed my glue gun and used the remaining pieces to decorate the frame. To have enough pieces, I had to take apart a few of the remaining puzzles, but since they had been gathering dust anyways it didn't matter.
