Today, I was digging in my linen closet for some hand towels and came across this monkey towel that I had forgotten about. There are actually two of them. After hanging them in the bathroom, I decided that they needed some company. So, using an old 16 x 20 canvas that was laying around, I proceeded to paint the monkey design freehand. It isn't exactly like the towels, but it turned out really cute. The bathroom where they will be residing has big blank walls and the bright colors should make it more fun. Besides, who doesn't love monkeys, they are so cute and funny! Everyone needs a bit of whimsy in their decor, who wants to be serious all of the time. :)
I accomplished a years worth of creativity on a budget. Now this blog is just for all of my creative outlets. My creativity involves a lot of craft projects, artwork and a few odds and ends.
