It is May and I have four months left in my quest for creativity. I do intend to keep posting after the 365 days, but probably not daily. Being a creative person ideas are always be coming up and I hope that others will be inspired by this blog. Please, if you enjoy my ideas send me some feedback. I would love to hear from readers. So, here we go, month number nine...
Here is a cute find from the Goodwill, a chicken napkin holder. To begin with I started with a coat of tan paint and then just started adding squares of color. The way it turned out kind of uneven really appealed to me. It was a fast project and I couldn't believe how good it looked. Well not everyone will probably agree with me, but I like more modern design. Normally I don't buy paper napkins so I used some of my cloth napkins rolled up. This is another example of using an item that was intended for one thing and using for another. Yes, it is still being used as a napkin holder, but not the kind it was designed for.
